Law Enforcement Reports: 7-8-14

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Monday:

    • Contempt of court – Danita Alexander, 39, 2704 Valley Road Lot 116, Meridian.

    • Simple assault on a police officer – Mary F. Brown, 22, 107 21st Place, Meridian. Brown also faces a charge of disorderly conduct/failure to obey law enforcement.   

    • Disturbance in a public place – Jimmy Lee Davis, 41, 4506 Valley Street, Meridian.

    • Public drunkenness – Danny Dewayne Fitzgerald, 54, 4901 22nd Street, Meridian.

    • Possession of controlled substance – Andrew Roderick Griggs, 28, 2611 10th Street, Meridian. Griggs also faces two counts of contempt/child support.       

    • Disturbance of family – John L. McRae IV, 25, 5305 Overbrook Lane, Meridian.     

    • Contempt of court – Louis Q. Mesley, 40, 2101 22nd Avenue, Meridian.

    • Murder – Lyndell Marcell Pritchard, 25, 3810 42nd Street, Meridian. Pritchard also faces two counts of possession of stolen firearms.    

    • Contempt of court – Bridgette Deanne Walters, 29, 4882 Point Wanita Lake Road, Chunky.       

    • False pretense, 2 counts – Byron Keith Watson, 53, 915 70th Place, Meridian.     

    • Escaping custody – David Earl Wilkerson, 30, 327 Rob Simms Road, Meridian.       

    • Shoplifting – Delphine Pritchard, 56, 3810 42nd Street, Meridian.  

    • Simple assault – Burty Fitch, 65, 1901 Front Street, Meridian.   

    • Disorderly conduct – Shanika S. Terry, 27, 915 40th Avenue, Meridian.   

    • Shoplifting – Breanna Phillips, 21, 1207 30th Avenue, Meridian.        

    • Possession of marijuana – Christopher E. Akins, 37, 2310 15th Street, Meridian. Akins also faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance.     

    • Possession of marijuana – Derence Reed, 35, 2627 St. Andrews Street, Meridian. Reed also faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance.      

    • Shoplifting, second offense – Jaslyn D. Sims, 29, 3830 42nd Street, Meridian.    

    • Fighting in public – Alisha J. Alexander, 37, 1418 22nd Avenue, Meridian.

    • Fighting in public – William B. Johnson, 29, 5990 Graham Road, Meridian.

    • Fighting in pubic – Jordan K. Gentry, 20, 221 56th Avenue, Meridian.       

    • Shoplifting, second offense – Lacey B. Lewis, 27, 698 Foreman Toles Road, Meridian.     

    • Disorderly conduct – Adesia Brown, 21, 4302 36th Street, Meridian.      


    Incident Reports    

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from 9 a.m. Thursday to 9 a.m. Monday:

Auto Burglary

    • 1500 block of 22nd Avenue.   

    • 400 block of Lake Drive.

    • 200 block of North Hills Street.

    • 1100 block of 18th Avenue.

    • 2800 block of Saint Luke Street.  

Residential Burglary

    • 3200 block of North View Drive.

    • 2500 block of Grandview Avenue.

    • 2600 block of Saint Andrew Street.

    • 2800 block of Saint Luke Street.


    • 3600 block of 20th Street.     


    • Meridian Police responded to a shooting into a vehicle in the 200 block of 35th Avenue. Officers arrived and learned that a vehicle had been shot into multiply times. No one was injured and the case is still under investigation.

    • Meridian Police Officers responded to 13 shots fired calls. When Officers arrived on scene they were unable to locate evidence to support the calls.
