MERIDIAN — The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

 

• Possession of controlled substance — Megan D. Baxley, 29, 10609 Allen Swamp Road, Collinsville.

• DUI — Kyle T. Cooks, 27, 685 Tuscaloosa St., Marion.

• Felony DUI — Lucian R. Dixon, 26, 1702 20th Ave., Meridian.

• Failure to pay child support — Eddie J. Gibbs, 48, 7100 Hwy. 80 W., Meridian.

• Shoplifting — Sandra A. Greeson, 33, 2914 Swearington Town Road, Meridian.

• Possession of controlled substance — Rodricus D. Huggins, 23, 2428 Old Marion Road, Meridian.

• Shoplifting — Michael Leday, 52, 1209 Chandler St., Meridian.

• DUI — Bruce Leonard, 27, 10985 W. 750 Road, Moand, Kan.

• Possession of paraphernalia — Gregory L. Lewis, 53, 3706 12th St., Meridian.

• Possession of marijuana — John J. Little, 21, 107 71st Place, Meridian.

• Possession of controlled substance — Ja'Darius Q. Nelson, 18, 2427 4th Ave., Meridian.

• Felon in possession of firearm — Patrick T. Phillips, 20, 3474 Hwy. 11/80, Toomsuba.

• Possession of stolen firearm — Preston E. Sims, 29, 1609 Allen Swamp Road, Collinsville.

• DUI — Johnny Taylor, 42, 2305 D St., Meridian.

• Possession of controlled substance — Leon W. Turner, 28, 5109 Windsor Road, Meridian.

 

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

 

Commercial Burglary

• At 7:55 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a commercial burglary in the 2300 block of Highway 19 North. An officer arrived on scene at 8:06 p.m. and determined that entry was made through a door.

• At 8:55 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a commercial burglary in the 2300 block of Highway 19 North. Officer arrived on scene 9:05 p.m. and determined that entry was made through a door.

Auto Burglary

• At 8:48 p.m. Sunday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 3900 block of Paulding Street. Officers arrived at 9:03 p.m. and found that entry was made through a window.

• At 10:23 a.m. Sunday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 100 block South Frontage Road. Officer arrived on scene at 10:32 a.m. and determined that entry was gained through a door.

• At 11:18 a.m. Sunday, a victim came to Meridian Police Department to report an auto burglary that occurred in the 500 block of A Street. Entry was gained through a door.
