MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following felony arrests between 8 a.m.Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Telephone harassment — William C. Griffith, born 1986, 5122 Windsor Road.

    • Simple assault — Donia F. Pettiegrew, born 1956, 407A Sweetgum Bottom Road.

    • Simple assault domestic — Quindelum S. Dungy, born 1979, 147 98th Place.

    • DUI — Joshua L. Davis, born 1986, 6915 Valley Road.

    • Shoplifting — Cecil L. Jones Jr., born 1950, 2865 Arundel Road.

    • Public drunk — Donald L. Saterfiel, born 1957, 1660 32nd St.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following felony arrests:

    

    • On Dec. 31, 2013, Meridian Narcotics Agents charged 25 year old Khari C. Barnes with possession of controlled substance with intent to sell. This arrest was made off a traffic stop in which officers allegedly found 70 grams of marijuana in Barnes' vehicle. Barnes was on probation and was not able to bond.

    • On Dec. 31, 2013, Meridian Narcotics Agents charged 39 year old Samuel T. Williams with possession of controlled substances. An officer reported finding methamphetamine Williams' possession. Bond was set at $15,000.

    • On Jan. 9, Meridian Detectives charged 21 year old Ahamefule A. Odus with counterfeit instrument: forgery/uttering. Bond was set at $5,000.

    • On Jan. 9, Meridian Detectives charged 18 year old Desire E. Tamakloe with counterfeit instrument: forgery/uttering. Bond was set at $5,000.

    • On Jan. 9, Meridian Detectives charged 21 year old Chika E. Egbuziem with counterfeit instrument: forgery/uttering. Bond was set at $5,000.

    On Jan. 9, Meridian Detectives charged 52 year old Carl E. Lockhart with counterfeit instrument: forgery/uttering. Bond was set at $5,000.

    On Jan.13, Meridian Detectives charged 31 year old Michael L. Mosley with aggravated domestic violence. Bond was set at $5,000.

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Stolen Vehicles

    • At 7:33 p.m. on Tuesday a car was reported stolen from the 1800 block of 12th Street. The vehicle was reportedly unlocked and the keys inside.

    Auto Burglary

    • At 8:41 a.m. Tuesday Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 3400 block of 3rd Street. An officer arrived at 8:48 a.m. and determined that entry was through a window.
