MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Public drunk — Paula M. Brown, 42, 11339 Hwy. 494, Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Jacorious T. Jones, 21, 2015 Mosby Rd., Meridian.

    • DUI — Scottashia R. Jones, 33, 200 23rd St., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Leon R. Sheffield, 53, 667 46th Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Charles R. Yarbrough, 30, 3140 Officer Lake Rd., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    Residential Burglary

    • 5600 block of Cooper St.

    • 4300 block of 5th St.

    Auto Burglary                                

    • 2400 block of 2nd Ave.

    • 4300 block of 5th St.

    • 4300 block of 5th St.

    Stolen Vehicle

    • 4400 block of 11th Street, nighttime, recovered.     

       

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

     The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Possession of marijuana — Ronny R. Carlisle, 31, 2514 17th Ave., Meridian.

    • Possession of cocaine — James E. Green, 41, 1939 8th Ave., Meridian.

    • Possession of cocaine — Anthony D. Harris, 28, 2520 17th Ave., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Tammy S. Hicks, 48, 8153 Lauderdale Toomsuba Rd., Toomsuba.

    • DUI — John D. Rawlings, 47, 133 McClendon St., Quitman.

    • Failure to register as sex offender — Paul A. Selensky III, 29, 5866 Gene Carr Rd., Meridian.

    • Aggravated assault — Ronnie L. Womack, 38, 7701 Barnhill Rd., Collinsville.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    DUI

    • Mosley Crossing Rd., Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.     

    • False alarm, Handy Blvd.        

    The volunteer fire departments reported no emergency runs between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 39 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Thursday and 3 p.m. Friday.
