MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday:

    • Domestic violence — James Wilson Libby, 51, 281 Highway 11 & 80, Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. Monday:

    

Residential Burglary

     • 500 block of North Hills Street, unknown time

    • 2700 block of 20th Street, nighttime

Auto Burglary                                

    • 1100 block of 26th Avenue, daytime



Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday:

    • Sale of cocaine, two counts – Regina Dian McMullen, 40, 383 Briarwood Road, Lot 541 Meridian.

    • Domestic violence, simple assault – Ladraeous Damon Richardson, 23, 5233 Ash Ave., Meridian

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents between 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday:

Burglary

     • 8300 block of Poplar Springs Drive, Meridian

    • 8800 block of Chapel Road, Meridian

Assault                               

    • 5300 block of Mini Farm Road A, Meridian

Shooting

    • Suqualena Road, Meridian

Theft

    • Suqualena Road, Meridian

    • 9100 block of Church Road, Collinsville

Intoxicated driver

    • Highway 39/North Hills Street, Meridian

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday:    

    • Domestic violence, simple assault – Kierra D. Jenkins, 22, 514 Old Country, Apt. B6, Lauderdale

Mississippi Dept. of   Probation and Parole

    The Mississippi Department of Probation and Parole reported the following violations between 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday:

    • Telephone harassment – Terrell Antrais Clayton, 27, 2684 Highway 496, Lot. 5, Meridian. Clayton is also charged with probation violation.

    • Possession of stolen firearm – Bryan LaKeith Haynes, 27, 17266 28th Ave., 408, Meridian. Haynes is also charged with felon in possession of a firearm.

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday:  

Feb. 5

    • Arcing, shorted electrical equipment, Old Eighth Street Road

    • Outside rubbish fire, 34th Avenue

    • Medical assistance, I-20

    • Medical assistance, North Frontage Road

    • Vehicle accident, Highway 39 North

    • Vehicle accident, North Hills Street

    • Electrical wiring problem, Lovers Lane

    • False alarm, Oakland Park Street

    • Building fire, Fifth Street

    The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following emergency runs from Feb. 3-5:

    • Structure fire, Highway 11 & 80 (Toomsuba/Russell/Lauderdale)

    • Brush fire, Allen Swamp Road (Suqualena)

    • Grass fire, KOA Campground Road (Toomsuba)

    • Structure fire, Old Eight Street Road (Suqualena/Colinsville/Bailey Martin)

    • Structure fire                     Confederate Drive (Marion/Russell/Northeast)

    • Motor Vehicle Accident, Highway 39 (Sam Dale)

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 55 emergency runs between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
