MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • DUI — Daryon A. Edwards, born 1994, Fisher Drive, Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Commercial Burglary

    • 1200 block of 23rd Avenue

    Auto Burglary                                

    • 3800 block of 34th Street

    • 1800 block of 10th Avenue

    • 700 block of Highway 19 N.

    Stolen Vehicle

    • 700 block of 32nd Avenue, 1999 Chevy Astro, tan, LCU-110

    Robbery  

    A man reported to police he was robbed at knifepoint in the 6000 block of 5th Street early Tuesday morning by two black males and a black female in a silver car. The victim received a small laceration from the robbery but did not require medical attention.  

    

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

      The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Disorderly conduct — Milton Q. Boyd, 28, 1367 Old Rock Road, Porterville.

    • Disorderly conduct — Leigh A. Coppins, 25, 3284 Knox Road, Toomsuba.

    • Disorderly conduct — Madgellynt C. Coppins, 27, 3284 Knox Road, Toomsuba.

    • Possession of cocaine — Daryl T. Johnson, 35, 4818 9th Street, Meridian.

    • Sale of marijuana — Terrence C. McMillion Jr., 22, Mosby Road Village Apartments, Meridian.

    • Burglary — Shannon D. Nix, 20, 366 Terry Road, Lauderdale.

    • Probation violation — Angel J. Parker, 22, 1923 33rd Ave., Meridian.

    • Possession of crystal methamphetamine — John B. Poisso Jr., 55, 2051 Old Wire Road, Meridian.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Disturbance

    • 3200 block Knox Road, Meridian.

    

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Vehicle accident, Highway 493

    • Outside fire, 38th Avenue

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 39 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
