MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Attempted vehicle theft — Richard D. Naylor, 33, 2704 Valley Road, Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Irvin A. Payne, 28, 1309 43rd Ave., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Sandra M. Ruffin, 43, 4819 Manning St., Meridian.

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported no incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.  

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Interfering with an officer — Johnny W. Bourdeaux, 53, 9551 Northeast Cole Road, Lauderdale.

    • DUI — Bernard D. Campbell, 24, 3426 19th Court, Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Richard A. Joles, 28, 9165 Joles Road, Lauderdale.

    • Probation violation — Aubrey M. Jordan Jr., 22, 4524 Hwy. 39 N., Meridian.

    • Felon in possession of firearm — Jakuavis D. Powe, 18, 1901 23rd St., Meridian.

    • Felony credit card fraud — Gay L. Reyes, 52, 12251 Hand Road, Collinsville.

    • Felony fleeing in motor vehicle — Sean Dee Summerford, 36, 303 Crescent Lake Road, Meridian.

    • Possession of paraphernalia — Craig A. Underwood, 38, 1248 River Road, Stonewall.

    • Failure to pay child support — Kymo L. Williams, 28, 200 23rd St., Meridian.

    • Burglary — Angela Wooten, 54, 9553 Extension Road, Lauderdale.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Burglary

    • 10900 block Hwy. 493, Bailey.

    • 8100 block Kewanee Road, Lauderdale.

    Theft

    • 9500 block West Lauderdale Road, Collinsville.

    DUI

    • B St. at 17th Ave., Meridian.

    

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.   

    • Traffic accident, Hwy. 19 S.

    • Traffic accident, North Frontage Road

    • Electrical problem, 39th Ave.

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.    

    • Structure fire, Pine Springs Road (Bailey, Suqualena, Martin)

    • EMS, Hwy. 11/80 (Toomsuba)

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 36 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
