Law Enforcement Reports: 4-17-14

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Public drunk — Jerico M. Clark, 37, 2422 45th Ave., Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Michael G. Davis, 33, 534 56th Ave., Meridian.

    • Attempt to commit an offense — Gerald J. Phillips, 29, 2209 19th Ave., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Michael Bridge, 26, 2611 10th St., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Bobby Rush, 36, 2610 Highland Ave., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.  

    Robbery

    • At 4:34 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a strong armed robbery call in the 100 block of Highway 11 & 80.  Officers arrived in one minute and determined the victim was intoxicated and no information was obtained.

    Auto Burglary

    • At 5:58 p.m. Monday, a victim came into the front desk of the department and reported an auto burglary in the 2300 block of Highway 19 South. This case is being investigated.

    Residential Burglary

    • At 9:42 p.m. Monday, police responded to a residential burglary in the 600 block of 59th avenue. Officers arrived at 9:48 p.m. and determined entry was gained through a door. This case is under investigation.

    Shootings

    Officers responded to four shots fired calls. When officers arrived on scene they were unable to locate any evidence to the support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

      The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • DUI — James T. Cox, 19, 10893 Baylor Road,, Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — William J. McMullan, 32, 3604 Zero Road,, Meridian.

    • DUI — Barbara A. McNeal, 49, 8366 Cook Road,, Meridian.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    DUI

    • Hwy. 45 S., Meridian.

    • Poplar Springs Road,, Meridian.

    • Centerhill Martin Road,, Meridian.

    Theft

    • 300 block Briarwood Road,, Meridian.

    Shooting

    • 4800 block Dale Drive,, Marion.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.
