Law Enforcement Reports: 1-15-14

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Aggravated assault — Michael L. Mosley, 31, 5889 Point Wanita Lake Road, Chunky.

    • Forgery — Ahamefule A. Odus, 21, 1189 Shoreham Drive, College Park, Ga.

    • Forgery — Desire E. Tamakloe, 18, 210 Maner Ter, Smyna, Ga.

    • Simple assault — Marlon K. Dungy, born 1977, 2219 34th St., Meridian.

    • Leaving the scene of an accident — Jaylen Clark-Drapier, born 1991, 3013 56th Court, Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.  

    Commercial Burglary

    • At 8:13 a.m. Monday, police responded to a commercial burglary in the 2400 block of 8th Street. Officers arrived on scene at 8:20 a.m. and determined that entry was made through door.

    • At 6:10 p.m. Monday, police responded to a commercial burglary in the 5200 block of Arundel Road. Officers arrived on scene at 6:12 p.m. and determined that entry was made through door.

    Residential Burglary

    At 9:29 a.m. Monday, police responded to a burglary in the 4700 block of 13th Street. Officers arrived at 9:36 a.m. and determined that entry was gained through a window.

    • At 3:25 p.m. Monday, police responded to a burglary in the 4000 block of 37th Street. Officers arrived at 3:29 p.m. and determined that entry was gained through a door.



Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office  

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • DUI — Lee Robinson, 34, 9185 Ridgewood Drive, Baton Rouge, La.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    Burglary

    • 3700 block Rufus Martin Road, Meridian.

    • 11700 Highway 494, Collinsville.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Fire runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported no emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.                   

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • EMS, Knox Road (Russell)

    • Vehicle fire, Dogwood Lake Road (Bailey)

    • Traffic accident, Highway 493 (Bailey)

Ambulcance runs

    

    Metro Ambulance reported 36 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Monday and 3 p.m. Tuesday.
