Law Enforcement Reports: 6-17-14

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Monday:

    • Uttering forgery – Harlie Haskins, 20, 3521 Vimville Causeyville Road, Meridian. Haskins is also charged with petit larceny-up to $500.   

    • Possession of burglary tools – Melvin Lewis Holesome, 51, 2723 41st Avenue, Meridian.    

    • Contempt of court-5 counts – Natalie Nicole Killen, 32, 4806 King Road, Meridian.

    • Contempt of court – Johnny Jerome Patton, 33, 3524 35th Avenue 14, Meridian.

    • Grand larceny-more than $500 – James Herbert Troxell Jr., 33, 2111 Pleasant Ridge Road, Chunky.     

    • Contempt of court – David Earl Wilkerson, 30, 327 Rob Sims Road, Meridian.

    • Driving under the influence (DUI) first offense – William Slayton, 30, 3017 56th Ct., Meridian. Slayton is also charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and having no insurance.   

    • Driving under the influence (DUI) first offense – Andreas Hillie, 25, 10120 Weldwood Drive, Meridian.    

    • Driving under the influence (DUI) other substance – Tommy Dale Henderson, 50, 3823 42nd Street, Meridian. Henderson is also charged with having an expired tag, no insurance, and suspended drivers license.

    • Shoplifting – Dajour Taylor, 23, 1325 45th Avenue, Meridian,

    • Shoplifting – Daniel D. Neese, 20, 12410 County Road 325, Philadelphia.     

    • Shoplifting – Willie White, 36, 3120 Wickward Road, Newton.

    • Driving under the influence (DUI) first offense – Jose Zavala, 24, 331 9th Avenue, Hickory NC.   

    • Shoplifting – Katisha M. Young, 28, 2410 54th Avenue, Meridian. Young is also charged with contempt of court.  

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from 9 a.m. Monday to 9 a.m. Tuesday:

Commercial Burglary

    • 2100 block of 14th Street.

Auto Burglary

    • 700 block of 63rd Avenue.

    • 400 block of Lake Drive.

    • 600 block of 55th Avenue.

    • 3800 block of Poplar Springs Drive.

    • 4900 block of 14th Street.

Residential Burglary

    • 5800 block of Brunson Drive.

    • 7100 block of Highway 80 West.

    • 1600 block of 20th Street.

    • 2600 block of St. Charles Street.

    • 3000 block of State Boulevard.

Shootings

    • Meridian Police Officers responded to 9 shots fired calls. When Officers arrived on scene they were unable to locate evidence to support the calls.
