Law Enforcement Reports: 6-12-14

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday:

    • Robbery-Armed – Marvin Dewayne Horn Jr., 23, 1423 Apt. 1, Meridian. Horn also faces a charge of aggravated assault.

    • Robbery-Armed – Gabriel Lashawn Mckey, 23, 1803 24th Street, Meridian. Mckey also faces a charge of aggravated assault.

    • Public Drunkenness – Carlos D. Young, 37, 62 Pin Oak Lane, Senatobia.

    • Simple assault threat – Natasha Portis, 30, 1701 17th Street, Meridian.

        

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 9 a.m. Tuesday to 9 a.m. Wednesday:

Residential Burglary

    • 3900 block of 30th Avenue.

Shootings

    • Meridian police officers responded to 2 shots-fired calls; officers were unable to locate evidence to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    Incident Reports

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday:

        

Burglary

    • 190 block of Smith Spur Road, Toomsuba.

Intoxicated driver

    • West Lauderdale Road, Meridian.

    • Highway 19 South, Meridian.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday:

    • Vulnerable adult abuse/neglect/exploitation – Tunzyan Brewster, 21, 3118 25th Street, Meridian.  

    • Possession of cocaine – Joshua Hearn, 36, 2108 26th Avenue Apt. 3, Meridian.

    • Probation violation/parole – James Edward Lewis Jr., 11271 Hill Thompson Road, Collinsville.  

    • Driving under the influence (DUI) first offense – William Mcrae, 37, 19674 Renlap Road, Renlap AL. Mcrae also faces charges of use of improper equipment and having no liability insurance.   

    • Probation violation/parole – Rachel Rasberry, 29, 4923 S.L. Wilson Road, Meridian.

    • Probation violation/parole – Charles Allen Russell, 35, 51 B Sullivan Kilran Road, Hattiesburg.

Mississippi Department of Corrections  

    

        Mississippi Department of Corrections reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday:

    • Burglary-Dwelling House – David Cooper Keeton, 39, 818 Wilder Drive, Meridian.

    • Sale of cocaine – Sabrina Wallace, 38, 335 A Greenhill Road, Toomsuba.

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following fire runs for Tuesday:

    • Vehicle accident, 65th Avenue.

    • False alarm, Highway 11 South.

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 38 emergency runs Wednesday by 3 p.m.
