MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Felony malicious mischief — Cornelius Kincaid, 21, 720 Davie Rd., Louisville.

    • DUI — Robert J. Sexton, 52, 185 Skyland Dr., Meridian.

    • Stalking — Yolanda Sidney, born 1983, 41st Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Mameisha Horn, born 1995, 36th Ave., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Jeresha R. Adams, born 1994, Toomsuba.

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    Residential Burglary        

    • 3000 block of 45th Ave.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Failure to pay child support — Ronald G. Brassfield, 53, 1504 18th Ave., Meridian.

    • Sale of marijuana — Ogonna A. Irby, 40, 4925 30th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Craig R. Murphy, 54, 833 Murphy Dr., Meridian.

    • Failure to pay child support — Ricky Naylor, 49, 2411 2nd Ave., Meridian.

    • Failure to appear in justice court — Pete N. Volking, 32, 225 CR 140, Shubuta.

    • Aggravated assault — Daniel S. Walker, 34, 198 Luther Craft Rd., DeKalb.

    Murder

    • 8829 Whipporwill Rd., Meridian.

    DUI

    • Lindley Rd., Marion.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Breakdown of light ballast, North Frontage Rd.

    • Vehicle accident, 8th St.                         

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Grass fire, Gene Carr Rd. (Causeyville)

    • Traffic accident, Hwy. 11/80 (Russell)

    • Assist other agency, Knox Rd. (Lauderdale)

    • EMS, Long Creek Rd. (Vimville)

    

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 32 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 3 p.m. Thursday.
