MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Aggravated assault — Sherita N. Fulgham-Love, 31, 2014 30th Ave., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Jonathan T. Howington, 29, 1110 Laurels End Cove, Senatoba.

    • Simple assault — Skylar A. Jackson, 25, 1119 35th Ave., Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — Mitchell D. Moncrease, 39, 1509 45th Ave., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported no incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.   

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

      The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday

    • Felony DUI — Naman Abernathy, 58, 1584 Hwy. 19 S., Meridian.

    • Receiving stolen property — Fredez Clark, 20, 122 Sequoyah Dr., Chattanooga, Tenn.

    • Possession of cocaine — Marcus C. Earl, 31, 902 30th Ave., Meridian.

    • Burglary — Al D. Fitzgerald, 31, 4312 Long Creek Cut Off Road, Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Calvin O. Person, 37, 6441 Chickasaw St., Marion.

    • Possession of cocaine — Stephanie L. Rogers, 41, 1617 13th Ave., Meridian.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Vandalism

    • 5000 block Zero Road, Meridian.

    Theft

    • 1800 block Old Marion Road, Meridian.

    DUI

    • 53rd Avenue, Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Fire runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.   

    • False alarm, 40th Avenue

    • Vehicle accident, Hwy. 39 N.

    • Bomb scare, Hwy. 19 S.

    • Vehicle accident, 8th St.

    • Building fire, 2nd St.

    • Electrical problem, 5th St.

    • Electrical problem, 36th St.

    • Combustible liquid, 14th Ave.

    The volunteer fire departments reported emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • EMS, Dale Dr. (Marion)

    • Grass fire, Russell Topton Road (Russell, Marion, Lauderdale)

    • Grass fire, Fred Clayton Road (Lauderdale, Bailey, Marion)

    • EMS, West Hamrick Road (Collinsville)

    • Assist other agency, Hwy. 80 W. (Meehan)

Ambulance runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 36 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
