MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Disturbance — Anna M. Monegan, 50, homeless.

    • Disturbance — Elisa T. Jackson, 53, 1121 29th Ave., Meridian.

    • False reporting of a crime — Jaqualynn D. McCarra, 23, 127 Carter St., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Jeremy R. Alexander, 26, 4901 Hooper St., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Arelene Scott, 65, 1318 19th St., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.  

    Stolen Vehicle

    • At 1:41 p.m. Monday, a victim came to the police Department to report a stolen vehicle from the 1200 block of Highway 19 North.

    Auto Burglary

    • At 6:11 p.m. Monday, a victim came to the police department to report an auto burglary that occurred in the 70 block of Highway 19 North.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

      The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday

    • Possession of marijuana — John L. Blanks, Jr., 51, 1472 Old Rock Road, Porterville.

    • Probation violation — Amanda R. Crews, 29, 768 Lake St., Toomsuba.

    • DUI — Lance T. Faulkner, 36, 4107 31st Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Alcide R. Kimbrell, 68, 470 Kimbrell Farm Road, Meridian.

    • Sale of cocaine — Michael Lloyd, 51, 8059 Lauderdale Toomsuba Road, Toomsuba.

    • Conspiracy to commit a felony — Tierre S. Odom, 22, 4110 9th St., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Kenneth S. Smith, 24, 2919 11th St., Meridian.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    Burglary

    • 2700 block Campground Road, Meridian.

    Theft

    • 2700 block Valley Road, Meridian.

    Vandalism

    • 6200 block Pinedale Drive, Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Fire runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.   

    • Vehicle accident, North Hills Street

    • Lock-in, 32nd Avenue

    • Vehicle accident, 13th Avenue

    • Vehicle accident, Hwy. 19 N.

    • False alarm, Oakland Park Street

    • Vehicle accident, South Frontage Road

    The volunteer fire departments reported emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • EMS, Mae Crooker Drive (Lauderdale)

    • EMS, York Road (Lauderdale)

    • Grass fire, Hwy. 19 N. (Suqualena)

Ambulance runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 32 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Monday and 3 p.m. Tuesday.
