    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.

    • DUI — Johnny L. Nickson, 58, 105 Shields Allen, Meridian.

    • DUI — Tommy J. Nixon, 41, 5226 Sumter St., Cuba, AL.

    • DUI — Lacory L. Ward, 26, 390 Crosby Rd., Louisville.

    The Marion Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.

    • DUI — Ruben L. Zavala, 18, 200 North Hills St., Meridian.

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Sunday.     

    Friday

    • Cooking fire, 51st Ave.

    • False call, Hwy. 80 W.

    • Vehicle accident, 22nd Ave.

    • Vehicle fire, 35th Ave.

    • Smoke removal, 35th Ave.

    Saturday

    • Vehicle/pedestrian accident, 1st St.

    • Smoke removal, Hwy. 39 N.

    Sunday

    • Aircraft standby, M St.        

    The volunteer fire departments reported no emergency runs between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.

    • Traffic accident, Gun Log Rd. (Bailey)

    • EMS, Valley Rd. (South)

    • EMS, Mayatt Rd., (Martin)

    • Traffic accident, Lakeview Golf Course Rd. (Vimville, Causeyville, Whynot)

    • EMS, Hookston Rd. (Suqualena)

    • EMS, Old Hwy. 45 N. (Lauderdale, Toomsuba)

    • EMS, Zero Rd. (Long Creek)
