MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Domestic violence — Carlton E. Edwards, 30, 902 30th Ave., Meridian.

    • Failure to pay child support — Stephen D. Hoffer, 34, 321 4th Ave., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Brandi G. Thrash, 29, 9314 Lauderdale Toomsuba Rd., Meridian.

    • Stalking — Alisa I. Rigdon, born 1972, Laurel.

    • Domestic violence — Russell M. Bradley, born 1992, Zero Rd., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Kasonya N. Boyd, born 1973, 58th Pl., Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Barry D. Robinson, born 1980, 47th Ave., Meridian.

Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.   

    Residential Burglary

    Thursday, at 7:57 a.m., Meridian police responded to a residential burglary in the 700 block of Bonita Drive. The owner showed police where entry was made through the front door and guns were stolen from the home. MPD is investigating this burglary.

    Stolen Vehicle

    Meridian police are investigating a stolen vehicle case involving a motorcycle that occurred on Thursday on the Highway 39 Bypass. The victim reported someone stole his 1974 black Suzuki motorcycle after it broke down. (Ga Tag TCN-236) Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

      The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Simple assault — Jeffery M. Davis, 44, 3589 Hwy. 11/80, Toomsuba.

    • Trespassing — Robert L. Hayes, 50, 9162 Whipporwill Rd., Meridian.

    • Indecent exposure in the presence of minor — Richard E. Paul, 58, 6536 North Hills St., Meridian.

    • Felony bad check — Frederick Smith, 51, 1904 33rd Ave., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Anthony Taylor, 48, 2206 A Ave., Meridian.

    • Sale of marijuana — Rodriquez L. Winfield, 27, 1000 Church Ave., Meridian.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.


    • J. W. Reynolds Rd., Meridian.


    • Causeyville Rd., Meridian.


    • 2700 block Valley Rd., Meridian.
