MERIDIAN — The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    • Possession of controlled substance — Patrick T. Phillips, 20, 3474 Hwy. 11/80 E., Toomsuba.

    • DUI — Joshua T. Spinks, 23, 7455 Lizelia Rd., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Staci Masukevich, born 1986, Hernando, FL.

    • Domestic violence — Tracy A. Davis, born 1977, Old 8th Street Rd., Meridian.



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.  



    Residential Burglary

    Meridian Police are investigating one residential burglary that occurred on Monday. Officers responded to a home in the 4800 block of Hooper Street at 7:14 p.m. and met with the homeowner who showed them where entry was made into the home through a door. A TV and other items were stolen. 

    Stolen Vehicle

    Meridian Police are investigating a stolen vehicle case that occurred on Monday in the 3300 block of 27th Street. Meridian Police were alerted to the crime at 8:39 p.m. The vehicle has since been recovered by the Meridian Police Department.

    Auto Burglary       

    Meridian Police were called to the 4400 block of Railroad Street at 6:05 a.m. on a call of an auto burglary. The owner showed police where entry was made through the door and money was stolen. 

    At 12:45 p.m. an auto burglary was reported in the 2000 block of Highway 45 North. Entry was made through a door and a purse and other items were stolen

    Police were called to the 3400 block of 25th Avenue at 7:37 a.m. on a call of an auto burglary. The owner showed police where entry was made through the door and miscellaneous items were stolen. 

    An auto burglary call at 7:40 a.m.  in the 200 block of North Hills Street was reported. Upon arrival the owner showed officers where entry was made through a door and money was stolen. 

    Another call of an auto burglary was answered at 9:06 a.m. in the 400 block of 47th Avenue. The victim showed police where entry had been made through a door and miscellaneous items were stolen. 

    Other Auto Burglaries are currently under investigation.



      The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    • Domestic violence — Hubert L. Bucklew, 45, 679 New Providence Church Rd., Chunky.

    • Possession of contraband — Eddie D. Roberson Jr., 30, 3610 Camel Dr., Hattiesburg.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    Assault

    • 10600 block Hwy. 80 W., Meridian.

    Burglary

    • 200 block Fairchild Rd., Meridian.



    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday. 



    • Vehicle accident, Hwy. 39 Bypass.

    • Medical assist, Myrtlewood Dr.                 



    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

   

    • EMS, Hwy. 145 (Clarkdale)

    • EMS, Alamucha Whynot Rd. (Vimville, Causeyville, Whynot)

    • Traffic accident, I-59 @ MM 124 (Meehan)

    • EMS, Pine Springs Rd. (Suqualena)

    • EMS, S. L. Wilson Rd. (Vimville, Causeyville, Whynot)

   

    Metro Ambulance reported 33 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Monday and 3 p.m. Tuesday.
