MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    • Simple assault — Charles Fluker, born 1976, 1705 36th Ave., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Kimberly Irvory, born 1987, 1722 30th Ave., Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Darie Williams, born 1994, 2310 D St., Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Otis Williams, born 1987, 2310 D St., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Jonathan Mardis, born 1994, 1510 26th Ave., Meridian.



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.  



    Commercial burglary

    • At 9:43 p.m. Monday, police responded to a commercial burglary in the 2400 block of 15th Street. Entry was gained through a window.

    Auto Burglary

    • At 10:10 p.m. Monday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 210 block of Grand Cypress Drive. Entry was gained through a door.

    Residential Burglary

    • At 7:43 a.m. Monday, police responded to a burglary in the 2600 block of 52nd Place. Entry was gained through a window.



Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported no incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



Mississippi Highway Patrol



    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



Marion Police Department



    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    The following cases were handed down during the Lauderdale County term the week of November 25 thru December 20.



    Sale of cocaine — Tamareo L. Lemon, 30 yrs. MDOC, 10 yrs. suspended, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Aggravated assault — Charles Brown, 10 yrs. MDOC, 10 yrs. suspended, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Felony malicious mischief — Ashley Hill, 5 yrs. MDOC, 5 yrs. suspended, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Possession of precursors with intent — Stephen T. Russell, 30 yrs. MDOC, 23 yrs. suspended, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Computer luring — Jataviaes L. Rackley, 2 yrs. MDOC, 2 yrs. suspended.

    • Possession of cocaine — Charles M. Humphrey, 4 yrs. MDOC, 4 yrs. suspended, 3 yrs. probation.

    • Sale of cocaine — Barry L. Burge, 35 yrs. MDOC, 27 yrs. suspended, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Burglary — Ali M. Savell, 2 yrs. non adjudicated.

    • Possession of amphetamine — Casey G. Tew, 2 yrs. MDOC, 2 yrs. suspended, 2 yrs. probation.

    • Forgery — Jimmie D. Snowden, 3 yrs. MDOC.

    • Possession of contraband in jail — James E. Redwood, 2 yrs. MDOC.

    • Sale of meth — David E. Pruett, 15 yrs. MDOC, 15 yrs. suspended, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Receiving stolen property — Thomas A. Larson, 10 yrs. MDOC, 10 yrs. suspended, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Felon in possession of firearm — Charles M. Brock, one year consecutive to revocation time of 9 yrs.



Fire runs

    

    The Meridian Fire Department reported no emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.                          



    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    • Structure fire, Northeast Cole Road (Lauderdale, Northeast, Toomsuba)

    • Structure fire, Front Street (Toomsuba, Lauderale)

    • Vehicle fire, I-20 at MM 146 (South)



Ambulance runs

    

    Metro Ambulance reported 32 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
