MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Trespassing — Quiante J. Blanks, 18, Old Marion Road, Meridian.

    • Aggravated assault — Stacy R. Hughes, 36, 305 45th Ave., Meridian.

    • Violation of court order — Darren L. Tubbs, 40, 1309 14th St., Meridian.

    • Trespassing — James A. Edwards, born 1978, 4812 3rd St., Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Xavier A. Harris, born 1988, 5552 Charlie Dunn Road, Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Sindy Harris, born 1960, 2328 43rd Ave., Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — Ashley Johnson, born 1986, 610 Lancel Lot Road, Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Darren Tubbs, born 1993, 1309 14th St., Meridian.

    • Assault — Takeia Harris, born 1981, 4608 Paulding St., Meridian.

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.  

    Stolen Vehicles

    • 5:00 p.m., 4900 block of Hooper Street

    Residential Burglary

    • 9:00 a.m., 3600 block of 24th Street

    • 9:23 p.m., 4500 block of Highway 39 North

    • 3:30 p.m., 2300 block of 36th Avenue

    • 10:00 p.m., 2200 block of 46th Avenue

    

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    

    Incident Reports

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Disturbance

    • 6800 block Timber Cove Drive, Meridian.

    Theft

    • 300 block Jeffery Acres Road, Meridian.

    • 9300 block Collinsville Circle, Meridian.

    Burglary

    • 2300 block Long Creek Road, Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.         

    • False alarm, Pioneer Road

    • Outside rubbish fire, Natures Way.

    • Vehicle accident, Texas Turnaround.

    • Arcing, shorted, Old Marion Road

    • False alarm, 16th Ave.            

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Assist other agencies, Valley Road (South Lauderdale)

    • Assist other agencies, I-20 @ MM 165 (Toomsuba)

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 38 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
