MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Possession of marijuana — Dekoyus J. Daniels, 21, 1502 5th St., Meridian.

    • Possession of paraphernalia — Anna M. Monegan, 50, homeless, Meridian.

    • Failure to pay child support — Aaron C. Rew, 37, 3810 42nd Ave., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Kevin S. Walker, 27, 583 Church Road, Kewanee.

    • Simple assault — Robert S. Boyette, born 1981, 4061 34th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Stacy M. Watson, born 1994, 4061 34th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Ebony Hawkins, born 1982, 6202 Oakland Park St., Meridian.

    • DUI — Decarlos S. Clark, born 1977, 3810 42nd St., Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Antwuan M. Griffin, born 1988, 103 71st Place, Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — Jerricka James, born 1992, 2015 Mosby Road, Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.  

    Commercial Burglary

    • At 9:17 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a commercial burglary in the 5700 block of Highway 39 North. Entry was gained through a door.

    • At 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a commercial burglary in the 70 block of Highway 19 North. Entry was gained through a door.

    Stolen Vehicle

    • At 11:03 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from on 28th Avenue. The vehicle was left running. The vehicle was recovered later in the night by MPD.

    Auto Burglary

    • At 10:17 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 200 block of 48th Avenue. Entry was gained through a door.

    At 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 300 block of 2nd Street. Entry was gained through a door.

    Residential Burglary

    • At 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a burglary in the 3100 block of 5th Street. Entry was gained through a door.

    • At 9:27 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a burglary in the 2300 block of 36th Avenue. Entry was gained through a door.        

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Burglary — Kristopher C. Branch, 36, 4103 Hickory Hill Cir., Toomsuba.

    • DUI — Fred L. Brown, 56, 576 Gooden Road, Hickory.

    • DUI — Robert E. Davis, 52, 7682 Pine Springs Road, Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Charlene S. Farrington, 32, 5223 Mini Farm Road, Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Michael E. Harrington Jr., 51, 2863 Peavy Road, Chunky.

    • DUI — Cameron S. Melancon, 21, 5332 Linmoor Drive, Marion.

    • Public drunk — Patricia T. Moats, 47, 11776 Highway 494, Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Connie S. Moore, 46, 6532 Sanders Road, Causeyville.

    • DUI — Rickey D. Orum, 28, 2710 41st Ave., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Willie J. Seals Jr., 37, 1824 19th St., Meridian.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    Burglary

    • 3600 Alice Drive, Lauderdale.

    • 3300 block North Shore Drive, Toomsuba.

    • 9300 block Fellowship Road, Meridian.

    DUI

    • Old Hwy. 80 / North Lakeland Drive, Meridian.

    • Highway 11/80, Meridian.

    • North Frontage Road, Meridian.

    • Highway 19 N., Meridian.

    Theft

    • 4900 block S. L. Wilson Road, Meridian.
