MERIDIAN —     The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Fleeing and eluding in a motor vehicle — Vernon R. Cutway, 60, 15247 Chunky Duffee Road, Newton.

    • Telephone harassment — Ashley J. Kirkpatrick, 30, 5528 Springhill Loop Road, Meridian.

    • Burglary — Ronnie D. Malone, 29, 3022 Rob Sims Road, Meridian.

    • Disposal of stolen property — Dustine C. Stokley Jr., 29, 3335 Highway 496, Meridian.

    

    Incident Reports

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Sexual assault

    • Sandflat Road, Meridian.

    Suspicious vehicle

    • 5200 block Breckenridge Dr., Toomsuba.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Vehicle/pedestrian accident, 24th Avenue

    • Building fire, 8th Street

    • Vehicle accident, Bonita Lakes Circle

    • Smoke or odor removal, Poplar Springs Drive                     

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Traffic accident, Zero Road (Long Creek)

    • Vehicle fire, Whipoorwill Road (Suqualena)

    • Traffic accident, Highway 19 North (Collinsville)

    • Assist other agency, Confederate Drive (Marion)

    • EMS, Russell Mt. Gilead Road (Russell)

    

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 30 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
