MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • DUI — Jimmy Cao, 28, 2224 Sutherland Drive, Montgomery, Ala.

    • Possession of cocaine — Attarian J. Curtis, 25, 302 59th Ave., Meridian.

    • Carrying a concealed weapon — Lorenzo D. Norman, 22, 3312 Highland Ave., Meridian.

    • Statutory rape — Ladarius Seals, 20, 3201 24th St., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Elbony S. Henderson, born 1985, 4990 Askew Road, Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Camilla C. Cole, born 1978, 197 71st Place, Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — DeCarlo S. Clark, born 1977, 3810 42nd St., Meridian.

    • Interfering with investigation — Urecka Harris, born 1984, 4524 Highway 39 N., Meridian.

    • Carrying a concealed weapon — Paul Brown, born 1995, 200 23rd St., Meridian.

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.  

    Auto Burglary

    • At 1:24 p.m. Monday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 4900 block of 14th Street. Entry was gained through a door.

    • At 5:02 p.m. Monday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 100 block of Highway 11 and 80. Entry was gained through a door.

    • At 11:27 p.m. Monday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 100 block of Highway 11 and 80. Entry was gained through a window.

    • At 11:27 p.m. Monday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 100 block of Highway 11 and 80. Entry was gained through a window.

    • At 1:19 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 100 block of North Hills Street. Entry was gained through a window.

    • At 4:35 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 100 block of North Frontage Road. Entry was gained through a window.

    Residential Burglary

    • At 10:34 a.m. Monday, police responded to a burglary in the 1000 block of 36th Avenue. Entry was gained through a window.

    • At 2:17 p.m. Monday, police responded to a burglary in the 7000 block of 10th Street. Entry was gained through a door.

    • At 2:25 p.m. Monday, police responded to a burglary in the 3700 block of 19th Court. Entry was gained through a door.

    • At 5:28 p.m. Monday, on December 16, 2013, Meridian Ppe 2200 block of 35th Avenue. Entry was gained through a door.
