Law Enforcement Reports: 12-17-13

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 11 a.m. Dec. 13 and 11 a.m Monday:

    • Public drunkenness – Adrian M. Bradley, 38, 2130 First Ave., Meridian. Bradley also faces charges for indecent exposure.

    • Public drunkenness – Jason Dewayne Butler, 34, 412 40th Ave., Meridian.

    • Indecent exposure – Calvin Odell Person, 37, 915 Confederate St., Marion. Person also faces charges for disorderly conduct/failure to obey law enforcement officer.

    • Public drunkenness – Johnny Taylor, 42, 2305 D St., F-2, Meridian.

    • Public drunkenness – Hector L. Torres-Dominguez, 22, 3214 Eden St. 59, Pascagoula. Torres-Dominguez also faces charges for public profanity.

    • Shoplifting – Ozie Lee Townsend, 54, 2113 22nd Ave., Meridian.    • Driving Under the Influence (DUI), first offense – Lamar Walker, 18, 2015 32nd Ave., Meridian. Walker also faces charges for driving the wrong way on a one-way street and driving without a license.

    • Interfering with police officer – Derrick L. Harold, Year of Birth (YOB): 1993, 460 56th Ave., Meridian.        

    • DUI – Jeremy A. Mathis, YOB: 1991, 2402 36th St., Meridian.    • Shoplifting – LaKeesha R. Curtis, YOB: 1984, 1911 34th Ave., Meridian.    • Simple assault/domestic – Maurice Strickland, YOB: 1958, 3217 15th Ave., Meridian.    • Possession of marijuana – Tracy Covington, YOB: 1974, 4330 Terry St., Meridian.

    • DUI, first offense – Ralphead D. Wilson, YOB: 1986, 5723 Valley St., Meridian.    • Disturbance of a business – Carlos Jones, YOB: 1988, 2105 10th Ave., Meridian. Jones also faces charges for disturbance of business.

    • Simple assault/domestic – Jeffery Sims, DOB: 1979, 507 County Road 514, Meridian.    • DUI, first offense – Kevin L. Satcher, DOB: 1989, 104 County Road 3771, Meridian.

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from 6 a.m. Dec. 13 to 6 a.m. Dec. 16:

Commercial Burglary

    • 200 block of Russell Drive.

      • 200 block of 69th Avenue. 

Stolen Vehicles

    • 1800 block of Jimmie Rogers Memorial Drive.

Auto Burglary

    • 1100 block of 47th Avenue. 

    • 1300 block of 19th Avenue. 

    •  900 block of Grand View Avenue.  Entry was gained through a window.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s  Department     

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 11 a.m. Dec. 13 and 11 a.m Monday:

    • Simple assault causing bodily injury – Julius L. Cole, 35, 1924 34th Ave., Meridian.

    • Receiving stolen property – Willie Davis Lewis, 38, 6048 Woodland Ridge Road, Meridian.    • DUI, first offense – Willie C. McNeal, 35, 100 Gail Ave. 4, York, Ala. McNeal also faces charges for violation of seat belt.

    • Embezzlement – David L. Nelson, 29, 4516 28th St., Meridian.

    • Driving Under the Influence (DUI), first offense – Jamie L. Thornton, 34, 7205 Bogue Flower Road, Meridian. Thornton also faces charges for driving with a suspended license, improper license tag display, expired tag and careless driving.

    • DUI, first offense – Anita Diane Thorne, 47, 31167 Ave. G, Big Pine Key, Fla. Thorne also faces charges for careless driving and driving without liability insurance.

    • DUI, first offense – Bobby L. Watson, 40, 9551 Collinsville Circle, Collinsville.
