Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Embezzlement — Aykeya Nyguel McDonald, 609 Beaver Creek Road, Newton
Grand larceny more than $500 — Lewis Charles Mitchell, 46, 520 Martin Luther King Drive. Mitchell is also charged with fleeing and eluding in a motor vehicle.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Disturbance of a family — Jerry W. Boudreaux, 54, 5343 16th Avenue. Boudreaux is also charged with disorderly conduct failure to obey a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
Driving under the influence (DUI) first offense — Tyrone Stephens, 31, 8688 Johnny Bailey Drive.
Probation violation — Latoyia Monic Payton, 26, 29 Johnson Road, Toomsuba
Contempt of court four counts — Erica Desha Smith, 21, 3489 Blue Top Road Lot G. Smith is also charged with malicious mischief, vandalism.
Failure to pay child support — Timothy Roy McDonald, 39, 2518 31st Ave.
