Meridian Police Department



The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday:



•Malicious mischief/vandalism — Bryson L. Brown, 24, 10249 E Telephone Road

• Domestic violence simple assault — Jacob Lee Yeates, 32, 1430 B James Pardin Road. Yeates is also charged with misdemeanor escape.

• Aggravated assault domestic violence — Margo Annette Smith, 24, 2305 D Street

• Probation violation — Connie Susan Moore, 41, P.O. Box 751, Marion. Moore is also charged with bad check of less than $100.

• Contempt of court — Anthony T. Glass, 33, 1698 Willow Lake Road, Toomsuba

• Driving Under the Influence (DUI) third offense — Jeffrey "Jeffery" Paul Creech, 41, 2946 Gene Carr Road

• Felony malicious mischief, vandalism — Planero Martinez Bell, 41, 10th Street and 28th Avenue. Bell is also charged with commercial burglary and probation violation.

• 200 block of Dees Road



Intoxicated driver:

• 8000 block of Barnhill Road



Fire Runs



The Meridian Fire Department reported the following fire runs for Oct. 6.



• Motor vehicle accident — Highway 19 North

• False call — 35th Avenue

• Good intent call — 30th Avenue

• EMS — 5th Street



The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following fire runs for Oct. 6-7.

• EMS — Zero Road (Clarkdale)

• Assist — Oak Street (Suqualena)

• EMS — Lauderdale Toomsuba Road (Toomsuba)

• EMS — Allen Road (Suqualena)

• Motor vehicle accident with injuries — I 59 South (South)

• EMS — Russell Mt. Gilead Road (Russell)

• EMS — South Anderson Road (Clarkdale)



Ambulance Runs



Metro Ambulance reported 38 runs from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.
