Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3 p.m. Thursday:
• Forcible rape — Boris A. Griffin, 27, 324 Ivy Street, Philadelphia. Griffin is also charged with molesting (touching a child for lustful purposes).
• Contempt of court — Joe Anthony Griffin, 50, 4009 Fifth St.
• Contempt of court — Kendrequez M. Dubose, 28, 1770 Bunk Newell Road
• Capital murder — Derrick T. Williams, 25, 2129 South Millard Avenue, Chicago. Williams is also charged with armed robbery and felony motor vehicle theft.
• Capital murder — Izola S. McMillion, 20, 2129 South Millard Avenue, Chicago. McMillion is also charged with armed robbery and felony motor vehicle theft.
• Contempt of court — David Santrell Conner, 24, 3711 11th St.
Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 3 p.m. Tuesday:
• Public drunk — Stephen Blaine Colson, 38, 5521 Water Valley Road
• Aggravated assault — Johnny D. Irby, 47, 1626 28th Ave.
• Aggravated assault — Lester Panter, 27, 10641 Highway 80 West. Panter is also also charged with prohibition,deadly weapon or contraband in Jail.
• Failure to pay justice court — William Earl Lummus, 53, 10415 Rabbit Road
• Probation violation — Laurie A. Barrett-Walker, 33, 911 25th Ave.

• False alarm — Highland Park Drive
• Motor vehicle accident — Chandler Road
• Gas leak — 19th Street
The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments did not report any fire runs.
Ambulance runs
Metro Ambulance reported 55 runs from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
