Meridian Police Department



The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday:

• Driving Under the Influence (DUI) second offense — Antonio Rayshawn White, 27, 4415 25th Street

• Felony DUI — Jerry Ramsey, 49, 1712 12th Avenue. Ramsey is also charged with contempt of court

• Interfere with duties of police — Marie J. Ivy, 28, 1216 30th Avenue

• Contempt of court, child support — Franklin D. Jackson, 31, 5030 Jeffery Acres Road. Jackson is also charged with contempt of court.

• Underage consumption — Olivia Ruth Clark, 19, 104 21st Street. Clark is also charged with disturbance of a family.

• Contempt of court two counts — Tania Marie Brown, 35, 1908 20th Avenue. Brown is also charged with interfere with duties of police.

• Contempt of court — Wynekia S. Maggard, 26, 1318 19th Street



Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department



The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday:

• Probation violation — Tommy Lee Portis, 50, 312 44th Avenue

• Possession of cocaine — Aaron Dwayne Conklin, 25, 423 Purvis Oloh Road, Purvis

• Failure to pay justice court — Dary Keith McCoy, 46, 673 Conehatta Street, Marion

• Failure to pay child support — Toby Lashawn Oliver, 28, 2286 Old Wire Road

• Aggravated assault — Cornelius Reeshod Mosley, 21, 1710 9th Avenue

• Sale of cocaine two counts — Calvin Cortez Wilson, 20, 314 5th Avenue. Wilson is also charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute.

• Simple assault on a minor — Misty J. Moran-Smith, 29, 1820 24th Avenue. Smith is also charged with domestic violence, simple assault.

• Public profanity — Staci Fowler, 23, 4413 Sonya Rainey Drive

• DUI first offense — Ava Keel Lockley, 20, 5381 C Mini Farm Road

• Disturbance of family — Jimmy G. Cooper, 57, 4068 Old Homestead Road

• DUI first offense — Shannon Steve Smith, 19, 4407 Sonja Rainey Drive. Smith is also charged with failure to appear justice court.

• Possession of cocaine — Wade Bernard Samuels, 47, 2011 20th Street

• Simple assault — John Straight, 32, 1719 Highway 19 North Apt. 98

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents:

Intoxicated driver:

• Causeyville Road/Rossie Smith Road

Stolen vehicle:

• NAS Meridian



Theft:

• 5000 block of Highway 11 and 80



Vandalism:

• 4000 block of Brock Road



Fire Runs



The Meridian Fire Department reported the following fire runs for Aug. 6.

• False alarm — 14th Street

• Building fire — Old Marion Road

• Canceled en route — Poplar Springs Drive

• Service call — Old Marion Road

• Building fire — Grandview Avenue

• Vehicle accident — 10th Avenue and North Hills Street



The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments did not report any fire runs.



Ambulance Runs



Metro Ambulance reported 46 runs for 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.
