Meridian Police Department



The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday:



• Contempt of court — Jeremy R. Powe, 18, 1801 24th St.

• Shoplifting less than $250 — Eddie D. Willis, 49, 3302 Davis St., Springfield

• Public drunk — Jimmy Lewis Hornsby, 48, 4303 30th St.

• Domestic violence — Erica Desha Smith, 21, 1930 16th Ave.

• DUI other substance — Joseph D. Kidd, 57, 627 Elizabeth St.



Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department



The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday:



• Home repair fraud — Stevie Fielder, 44, 4258 Poplar Springs Drive

• Trespassing — Allen L. Edwards, 50, 10514 Highway 495

• Driving Under the Influence (DUI) first offense — Titus R. Miller, 24, 4325 Highway 513, Quitman

• Domestic violence — Matthew Christopher Irby, 21, 21 County Road No. 340

• Simple assault by threat, two counts — Dustin Kyle Underwood, 21, 2167 B. Wilkerson Loop. Underwood is also charged with two counts of telephone harassment.

• DUI second offense — Kenneth Lee Spears, 29, Rt. 2 Box 186B, DeKalb

• Public drunk — Donald Lane Saterfiel, 51, 9809 Gipson Road, Collinsville

• Probation violation — Robert Jeremy Ealie, 40, 267 County Road 241, Shubuta

• Aggravated assault — Rondarious Antwan Phillips, 18, 1809 Ninth Ave. Phillips is also charged with simple assault.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents:



Domestic violence:

• 9000 block of Highway 19 North



Stolen vehicle:

• 4000 block of Highway 496



Theft:

• 1000 block of Willow Lake Road



Vandalism:

• 10,000 block of East Telephone Road

The Meridian Fire Department reported the following fire runs for Aug. 5.

• EMS — St. Andrews Street

• EMS — 10th Avenue

• EMS — 53rd Avenue

• Vehicle fire — St. Andrews Street

• Vehicle accident — Highway 11 South

• Overheated motor — 18th Avenue

• False call — Cooper Circle



The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported these fire runs for Aug. 5.

• EMS — Raymond Cobb Road (Center Ridge)

• Grass fire — Lost Horse Road (Northeast)

• Grass fire — Wider Drive (Lost Gap)

• Structure fire — S.L. Wilson Road (Causeyville, Vimville, and Whynot)

• Grass fire — Mayatt Road (Martin)



Ambulance Runs
