Meridian Police Department



The Meridian Police Department reported no suspected non-traffic violations between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday.



Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department



The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday:



• Failure to pay child support — Derrence M. Reed, 29, 4708 29th Ave.

• Disorderly conduct, failure to obey law enforcement officer — Bryant Dewayne Moore, 46, 1611 Fifth Street. Moore is also charged with resisting arrest.



Incident reports



The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents for July 16.



Commercial Burglaries:

• 4000 block of Eighth Street, a/c push, money stolen, night time



Auto Burglaries:

• 4000 block of Highway 39 North, window entry, wallet stolen, unknown time



Robbery:

At about 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a juvenile was robbed by another juvenile in the 4000 block of 28th Street. The suspect allegedly threatened the victim with a gun and stole his cell phone. The suspect was arrested shortly afterwards. The victim was unharmed.



Vandalism:

• 1000 block of 16th Street, car window, night time



Larceny:

• 100 block of 11-80 East, gas stolen from gas tank, night time

• 1000 block of 18th Avenue, motorcycle saddlebag stolen, unknown time

• 2000 block of North Frontage, blower stolen, day time

• 1000 block of 15th Avenue, copper stolen, unknown time

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents for July 15.



Stolen vehicle:

• 3000 block of Causeyville Road



Theft:

• 9000 block of Center Hill Martin Road

• 7000 block of Warren Road

The Meridian Fire Department reported the following fire runs for July 16.

• EMS — 22nd Avenue

• EMS — Eighth Street

• EMS — 32nd Place

• EMS — 22nd Avenue

• EMS — Bonita Lakes Circle

• EMS — 42nd Avenue

• False call — Bragg Avenue



The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following fire runs for July 15-16.

• EMS — Collins Drive (Collinsville)

• Fire alarm — Dale Drive (Marion)

• EMS — Highway 495 (Bailey)

• EMS — Welch Road (Toomsuba)



Metro Ambulance



Metro Ambulance Reported 56 runs between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday.
