Meridian Police Department



The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 2 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday:



• Simple assault – Frederick Brassfield, 57, 2103 Martin Luther King Drive.

• Shoplifting — Victoria S. Portis, 24, 1621 51st Ave.

• Shoplifting, first offense – Daniel Lee Maxwell, 20, 5441 Vimville-Causeyville Road.

• Domestic violence, second offense — Louis Easom, 25, 4326 Terry St. • Contempt of court – Clarence Sharp, 22, 3834 York Road, Lauderdale. • Shoplifting, first offense – Olivia Dunnigan, 19, 4010 20th St.

• Public drunkenness – Bryant K. Moore, 21, 11 1/2 W. 85th St., Los Angeles, Calif. Moore is also charged with fighting in public and disorderly conduct.

• Driving Under the Influence (DUI), first offense – Stanley Thompson, 27, 626 21st St. Thompson is also charged with violation of child restraint law, failure to produce a driver's license, driving without insurance and speeding.

• Fighting in public – Tamieka Scarbrough, 35, 200 23rd St.

• Fighting in public – Jeffery Scarbrough, 37, 2044 48th Ave.

• Fighting in public – Rosalee Willis, 39, 506 3rd St.

• Simple assault – Dewon Burrage, 21, 4 32nd Ave. S. Burrage is also charged with driving without a license and violation of noise ordinance.

• DUI, first offense – Reggie Bridges, 25, 2002 19th St.



Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department



The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 6 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday:



• Public drunkenness – Exell Jackson III, 36, P.O. Box 329, Lisman, Ala. Jackson is also charged with possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle.

• Driving Under the Influence (DUI), refusal – Joseph D. Hollern, 32, 715 Elmwod Drive. Hollern is also charged with careless driving.

• DUI, first offense – Eric Delk, 43, 1600 Stennis Road, DeKalb. Delk is also charged with careless driving.

• DUI, second offense – Derrick G. Clark, 23, 5730 19th Ave. Clark is also charged with careless driving.

• DUI, refusal – Jill Davidson, 41, 3448 Bolen Long Creek Road. Davidson is also charged with careless driving.

• Stalking – Stephen W. McDonald, 47, address unavailable.

• DUI, third offense – Deborah P. Stephens, 51, 1410 B. Peach Tree Lane, Tupelo. Stephens is also charged with violation of seatbelt law, driving with a suspended license (Implied consent), and driving without insurance.
