Meridian Police Department



The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m.Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.



• Felony motor vehicle theft — Shon L. Johnson, 39, 637 Stamper Road, Newton

• Shoplifting less than $250 — Tommy Hampton, 59, 811 28th Ave. Hampton is also charged with contempt of court.

• Indecent exposure — Allen Gene Lyons, 60, 2441 42nd Ave.

• Domestic violence simple assault — Deborah S. Clayton, 41, 1915 25th Ave.



Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department



The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.



• Disturbance of family — William B. Johnson, 22, 5990 Graham Cemetery Road

• Possession of cocaine — Paul Jason McKinnis, 25, 3222 Grandview Ave.

• Aggravated assault — Christopher Love Brown, 26, 6429 Chickasaw St., Marion

• Probation violation — Johnny R. Horn, 51, 711 26th St.
