Meridian Police Department



The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.



• Aggravated assault, domestic violence — Aletha Lisa Bell, 40, 2615 24th Ave. Bell is also charged with domestic violence, simple assault.

• Contempt of court — Ronnie Hawkins, 51, Ninth St., Decatur



Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department



The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.



• Disturbance of family — Dustin Kyle Underwood, 21, 2167 B Wilkerson Loop

• Possession of cocaine — Bruce Edward Roberts, 43, 2704 Chandler St.

• Contempt of court 12 counts — Roger Dale Scarbrough, 25, 2504 Bolen-Long Creek Road. Scarbrough is also charged with petite larceny up to $500 and failure to appear in justice court.

• Contempt of court — Tonya Renee Warren, 30, 1117 42nd Ave. Warren is also charged with resisting arrest, simple assault on a police officer, sale of controlled substance and probation violation.

• Domestic violence, simple assault — Bill Johnson, 31, 5223 Mini Farm Road

• Probation violation — Morris Griggs, 38. 1280 Will Wright Road

Commercial Burglaries:

• 100 block of South Frontage Road, door entry, copper stolen, night time

• 3000 block of 20th Street, window entry, TV stolen, unknown time



Vandalism:

• 200 block of North Hills Street, window broken, night time



Larceny:

• K.G. School, camera stolen, unknown time

• 1000 block of North Frontage Road, copper stolen, unknown time

• 100 block of South Frontage Road, wallet, day time

• 4000 block of Royal Road, blower stolen, night time
