Meridian Police Department



The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Saturday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

• Contempt of court two counts — Tyson Alexion Miller Beard, 31, 3289 A Knox Road, Toomsuba

• Armed robbery — Rodriquez M. Berry, 20, 3402 35th AVenue. Berry is also charged with contempt of court.

• Public drunk — Tony Clayton Thomas, 32, Homeless

• Disorderly conduct, failure to obey law enforcement — Eddie Durr, 40, 3011 Valley Street



Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department



The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Saturday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

• Disturbance of a family — Milton Chuck Stevens, 24, 368 B Jeffery Acres Road

• Disturbance of a family — James Douglas Bass, 42, 4567 Butts Road, Toomsuba

• Contempt of court — Guy J. Goodwin, 25, 136 Blackberry Creek Road, Carrollton

• Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute — Douglas Wilson, 23, no address given

• Armed robbery — Travis Ray Conner, 18, 5211 5th Street

Commercial Burglaries:

•1000 block of B Street, window entry, money stolen, night time



Auto Burglaries:

• 1000 block of 28th Avenue, window entry, n/a, night time

• 1000 block of 14th Avenue, unlocked, purse stolen, day time

• 1000 block of 19th Street, window entry, tools stolen, unknown time



Residential Burglary:

• 600 block of 21st Street entry, n/a, night time

• 4000 block of State Boulevard, door entry, tools stolen, unknown time

• 2000 block of Chandler Street, window entry, purse stolen, night time

• 1000 block of 14th Avenue, door entry, appliances stolen, unknown time

• 2000 block of 28th Avenue, door entry, TV stolen, unknown time



Robbery:

• Last Thursday at about 3 p.m., a man was robbed at gunpoint in the 3500 block of 20th Street. The victim was slightly injured and the suspect fled on foot. No further at this time.

• Sunday night at about 9:15 p.m. a lady was robbed at gunpoint in a parking lot of the 2900 block of North Hills Street. Minutes later the suspected robber and his alleged accomplice were stopped by Police and arrested. 20 year old Roderick Berry and 18 year old Travis R. Conner have been charged with armed robbery. Berry was given a $50,000 bond and Conner received a no bond warrant because of a prior felony charge he is out on bond for. The victim received minor injuries and was treated and released at a local hospital.

• Northwest School, window broken, night time

• 800 block of Highway 19 South, defacement, night time

• 400 block of 26th Avenue, window broken, unknown time



Larceny:

• 1000 block of 65th Avenue, gas stolen, night time
