Meridian Police Department



The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Monday and 3:31 p.m. Tuesday.

• Contempt of court — Darrell Sims, 38, 605 31st. Street

• Burglary of dwelling, house — D’Anthony Davis, 17, 4408 Hooper Street



Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department



The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Monday and 3:31 p.m. Tuesday.

• Burglary of commercial building — David Covington, 20, 296 Harper Road. Covington was also charged with contempt of court.

• Driving under the influence (DUI) first offense — Justin Garza, 18, 11158 Highway 494, Collinsville

• Contempt of court — Wallace Ray Ofield, 32, 476 Greenhill Road, Toomsuba

• Possession of firearm with possession of controlled substance — Mykel Griffin, 25, 9920 Legacy Drive, Fortwood, Texas. Griffin is also charged with no drivers license, and speeding.

• DUI first offense — Paul Edwin Graham, 55, 4820 Fifth Street. Graham is also charged with false ID information and contempt of court.

• Contempt of court — Johnny Buckalew, 36, 1091 Hopewell Road, Little Rock. Buckalew is also charged with petit larceny.
