— Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Saturday and 3:30 p.m. Sunday:

• Contempt of court – Larry K. Scott, 24, 8225 King Road
• Public drunkenness – Donald Skinner, 61, transient. Skinner is also charged with contempt of court.
• Driving under the influence (DUI), third offense — Santarrio A. Lyons, 24, 8808 Highway 493, Bailey. Lyons is also charged with running red traffic light (two counts), reckless driving, failure to have vehicle under control, driving with a suspended license (DUI) and driving without proof of insurance.
• Simple assault – Pretoria Holt, 29, 1929 Ninth Ave. Holt is also charged with contempt of court.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Saturday and 3:30 p.m. Sunday:

• Driving under the influence (DUI) second offense — Katie Anderson, 19, 312 50th St. Anderson is also charged with disregard for a traffic device.
• Driving under the influence (DUI) second offense — Michael R. Jimerson, 29, 4913 30th St. Jimerson is also charged with driving without insurance, driving with a suspended license and improper equipment.
• Possession of pills, Xs — Shenequa K. Ellison, 28, 100 Pratt Highway, Apt. 602, Birmingham, Ala.
