Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests from 3 p.m. Saturday through 4 p.m. Sunday:
• Simple assault /Domestic violence – Ronald Weir, 58, 5321 Fifth St.
• Contempt of court – Shelia LaFaye Anderson, 28, 1725 25th Ave.
• Contempt of court – LeJona Delois Harris, 27, 535 46th Ave.
• Malicious mischief – Jimmy Hornsby, 49, 4305 30th St.
• Contempt of court – Dralyn R. Sims, 19, 2416 42nd Ave.
• Simple assault – Marvin C. Hayes, 26, 2629 St. Andrews St. Hayes is also charged with telephone harassment.
• Contempt of court – Racquel Roberts Morgan, 37, 2627 24th Ave.
• Simple assault on a minor – Ronthrell Davis, 32, 408 47th Ave.
• Shoplifting – Angela D. Covington, 26, 3553 Paulding St.
• Commercial burglary – Ronald Ridgeway, 18, 2207 Eighth Ave.
Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 3 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday:
• Stalking – Ronald Weir, 58, 5321 Fifth St.
• Possession of cocaine – Ricky Tubbs, 19, 3107 Fifth St.
• Driving Under the Influence (DUI), third offense – Bill Johnson, 32, 5223 Mini Farm Road. Johnson is also charged with possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and driving with a suspended driver's license (implied consent).
• DUI, first offense – Antonio T. Pugh, 20, 2318 Robert Butler Road, Forest. Pugh is also charged with driving without insurance and careless driving.
• DUI (other) – Rodrigues Seals, 24, 3120 Fourth St. Seals is also charged with possession of ectasy, possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle, driving without a license and driving with improper equipment.
• Bad check – Raquel R. Morgan, 37, 2627 24th Ave.
• DUI, first offense – Billy D. Smith, 41, 10540 Road 3403, Philadelphia. Smith is also charged with careless driving.
• Burglary of a dwelling, house/grand larceny – George Jackson, 18, 448 Paulding St.
Ambulance runs
Metro Ambulance reported 16 runs from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday.
