Keep on the best of terms with everyone in your group, club, church or golf league, because there are indications that you could be rather fortunate through one of these relationships in the year ahead. It could mean big bucks.



CANCER (June 21-July 22) -- Poor judgment on behalf of an associate will cause complications for you, too -- so pay close attention to what he or she is doing at all times and be prepared to avert a mistake if necessary.



LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) -- Be suspicious of anyone who is showering you with an unwarranted amount of praise. It should be a strong signal that he or she has an ulterior motive. Don't succumb to flattery or sweet talk.



VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) -- All social matters must be handled with understanding and forgiveness, because people in general might be a bit out of sorts and not themselves. Make sure that you're not counted among the latter.



LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23) -- Important career matters must be handled with skill and constancy -- or you could lose that which you had already won. If you suspect something is amiss, protect what you've got going for you.



SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 22) -- Although people tend to overlook a little faux pas most of the time, this is not apt to be the case right now. Be particularly careful of your choice of words -- a heated response could result from a small provocation.



SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23-Dec. 21) -- An ineffective counselor could provide losing advice about a tip that he or she has heard, so don't be quick to act on it merely based on this person's word.



CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- Don't be so independent that you stubbornly reject support from associates who offer knowledge or skills you don't possess. All that pride would be counterproductive.



AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) -- Adopting a sour attitude will negatively affect all decision making you encounter and be the cause of needless loss, especially if the decisions are business-related.



PISCES (Feb. 20-March 20) -- If a close friend does not look favorably at someone you like, don't try to push the two together. You'll be stuck in the middle of warring factions.



ARIES (March 21-April 19) -- If you suspect someone isn't totally up front about something that concerns both of you, set an example by showing this person the benefits of laying your cards on the table.



TAURUS (April 20-May 20) -- Anything negative you say about a friend will be reported in detail to others and eventually get around to your adversary. You might have to suffer the consequences of your actions. Be prepared to apologize.
