New NAPA Auto Parts store
to open in Meridian

NAPA Auto Parts is planning to locate in new store in Meridian, according to the company's Director of New Business Development, Josh D'Agostino. The stores, which he says are often independently owned but are not a franchise, have recently been looking at many smaller communities, feeling that they are prime spots for auto part stores.
D'Agostino also said that the auto parts industry is benefitting from the current recession, because more people are repairing their old cars rather than buying new ones. He said that, though a location has not yet been chosen, he hopes a new NAPA Auto Parts store will open in Meridian within the next six months.
