SUBMITTED PHOTO ECCC STAFFERS HONORED East Central Community College recently honored staff members with 20-22 years of service during the annual “Appreciation Tea” held on the Decatur campus. From left are: Fredrick Lyons of Decatur, carpentry/cabinetmaking instructor and assistant football coach, 20 years; Kathy George, also of Decatur, early childhood education instructor, 22 years; Polly Mayes of Newton, drafting and design technology instructor, 21 years; and Bubby Johnston of Forest, vice president for public information, 21 years. Also honored were Burma Weidler of Decatur, assistant to the director of financial aid, 20 years service. The annual event is sponsored by the Administration, Faculty, Staff Association (AFSA).
