MISS MCC Winners of the Miss Meridian Community College Scholarship Program held April 27 were, from left, Shannon Creel, Cherrish Roche, Doris Douglas and Renee Wall. Contestants were judged on interview, academics, stage presence and an impromptu question. Cherrish Roche was named Miss MCC 2006 and received a $750 scholarship. Other winners were Shannon Creel, first runner-up, who received a $500 scholarship; Doris Douglas, second runner-up, who received a $400 scholarship; and Renee Wall, fourth runner-up, who received a $300 scholarship.
