MERIDIAN —

    Mr. and Mrs. Ike S. Martin of Philadelphia announce the engagement of their daughter, Meagan Katherine, to Brent Patrick Anthony, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Randall Anthony of Brandon.

    The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at 6 p.m., at First United Methodist Church in Philadelphia.

    Miss Martin is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wallace Cox of Philadelphia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ike E. Martin of Meridian.

    The bride-elect attended Mississippi State University and is a 2012 graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she earned a master’s degree in occupational therapy. She is also a 2007 graduate of Philadelphia High School.

    While attending MSU, she was a member of Delta Gamma sorority.

    Miss Martin is employed by Jackson Public School District.

    Mr. Anthony is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Malcolm Wagner of Loranger, La., and Ms. Darlene Knight Anthony and the late Mr. Charles Lester Anthony of Tickfaw, La.

    The bridegroom-elect attended Hinds Community College and is a 2009 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in construction management. He is also a 2005 graduate of Brandon High School.

    While attending Hinds Community College, he was a member of the baseball team.

    Mr. Anthony is employed by KLLM Transportation Company.

    A reception will be held at the home of Dr. Bill Molpus.

    Family and friends are invited to attend.
