Williams, Fleming

MERIDIAN — Mr. David Williams of Picayune and Mrs. Cindy Williams of Birmingham, Ala. announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Michelle Williams, to Benjamin Kerley Fleming, son of Walter Fleming and David and Kathi Coleman, all of Columbus.

    Vows will be exchanged Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at 7 p.m. at the Cotton Market Venue in Richland.    

    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. George Williams and the late Dorothy Williams of Mandeville, La. and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stewart and the late Mary Patricia “Patti” Prouty Stewart of Lacombe, La.

    Miss Williams is a 2010 graduate of William Carey University, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in theatre and a minor in English. She is a 2006 graduate of Picayune Memorial High School in Picayune.

    While attending William Carey University, she was a member of Alpha Psi Omega.

    Miss Williams is currently employed as a head booker with KPT Models in St. Petersburg, Fla.

    The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Denny Fleming of Quitman and the late Mr. and Mrs. Denny Fleming of Quitman and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kerley of Prentiss.

    Mr. Fleming is a 2011 graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Ga., with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He is a 2008 graduate of East Mississippi Community College and a 2006 graduate of New Hope High School in Columbus.

    While attending Southern Polytechnic State University, he was a member of the baseball team.

    Mr. Fleming is currently an account manager with NaturChem, Inc. in Tampa, Fla.
