McQueen, Mayerhoff

MERIDIAN — Mr. and Mrs. William E. McQueen of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Cindel Leigh-Ann, to Matthew Edward Mayerhoff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Mayerhoff of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, May 11, 2013, at 4 p.m., at the home of the bridegroom’s parents.

    Miss McQueen is the granddaughter of Mrs. Bobbie McQueen and the late Robert McQueen, and Mrs. Mattie Brewer and the late Howard Brewer, all of Meridian.

    The bride-elect received a degree in nursing from Meridian Community College. She is also a graduate of Clarkdale Attendance Center.

    Miss McQueen is employed by The Specialty Hospital of Meridian.

    Mr. Mayerhoff is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Mayerhoff Sr., Mrs. Darthy Williams and the late Bobby Slay and Donald Williams, all of Meridian.

    The bridegroom-elect received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Mississippi State University. He is also a graduate of Clarkdale Attendance Center.

    While attending MSU, he was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineering.

    Mr. Mayerhoff is employed by the Mississippi Department of Transportation.

    A reception will be held at Sageville United Methodist Church.
