MERIDIAN —     Alan and Linda Sullivan of Hamilton, Scotland, announce the engagement of their daughter, Pamela, to Joseph Moss, son of Richard and Cena Moss of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at 4:30 p.m., at Yankee Hall Plantation in Pactolus, N.C.

    Miss Sullivan is the granddaughter of May Bonner of Hamilton.

    The bride-elect received a master’s degree in public health from East Carolina University and a bachelor of science degree with honors from Strathclyde University. She is currently working on a master of science degree in nursing. She is also a graduate of Greenook Academy.

    While attending East Carolina University, she was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and Sigma Theta Tau honor and leadership organizations.

    Miss Sullivan is employed by East Carolina Heart Institute at Vidant Medical Center.

    Mr. Moss is the grandson of Mildred Coffendaffer of Wymore, Neb.

    The bridegroom-elect received a master of science degree in botany from the University of Tennessee and a bachelor of science degree from the University of West Alabama. He is also a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School.

    While attending the University of West Alabama, he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon, Omicron Delta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, Sigma Tau Delta and the Blue Key Leadership fraternity.

    Mr. Moss is employed by Pitt County Schools, Pitt Community College and East Carolina University.

    A reception will be held at Yankee Hall Plantation Grand Ballroom.
