Gibson, Nolan

MERIDIAN — Howard and Monica Gibson of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Hope, to Austin Nolan, son of Ron and Karen Nolan of Toomsuba.

    The wedding will be Friday, May 31, 2013, at 7 p.m., at Russell Baptist Church.

    Miss Gibson is the granddaughter of Mary Lee Webb and the late Robert Webb, and Mary Gibson and the late H.C. “Ray” Gibson, all of Meridian.

    The bride-elect is a 2012 graduate of Meridian Community College, where she received an associate of arts degree. She is also a graduate of Russell Christian Academy.

    While attending MCC, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

    Miss Gibson is employed by Russell Christian Academy.

    Mr. Nolan is the grandson of Wallace and Linda Miller of Cuba, Ala., and the late Brenda Anderson and the late Larry Nolan.

    The bridegroom-elect is a 2011 graduate of Meridian Community College, where he received an associate of arts degree. He is also a graduate of Russell Christian Academy.

    Mr. Nolan is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in worship leadership and music at the University of Mobile. While attending the university, he is a member of worship choir and Alpha Chi honor society.

    Mr. Nolan is employed by Calvert Baptist Church, Calvert, Ala.

    A reception will be held at Russell Baptist Church.

    Family and friends are invited to attend.
