Quinn, Parten

MERIDIAN —     Jimmy Breaux of Houma, La. and Crystal Rutledge of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Morgan Quinn, to Ethan Parten, son of Ronnie and Melanie Parten of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Grand Oaks Bluegrass Gospel Hall in Whynot.

    Miss Quinn is the granddaughter of Mary Quinn and the late Bobby Quinn, Gail Jaccuzzo and the late Morris Breaux.

    The bride-elect currently attends Meridian Community College and will graduate in December with a degree in medical records and coding.

    While attending MCC, she is a member of Phi Beta Lambda professional business fraternity.

    Mr. Parten is the grandson of Leland and Sherry Harrison of Meridian and the late Hale Parten and the late Dixie Parten.

    The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian Community College and Southeast High School.

    While attending MCC, he was included in "Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior/Community Colleges."

    Mr. Parten is employed by Rush Foundation Hospital.

    A reception will be held at Grand Oaks Bluegrass Hall.

    Family and friends are invited to attend.
