Clayton, Windham

MERIDIAN —     Michael and June Clayton of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Amie Nicole, to Aaron John Windham, son of John and Karen Windham of Saucier.

    The wedding will be Saturday, April 26, 2014, at 5:30 p.m. in Gaultier.

    Miss Clayton is the granddaughter of Dempsey and Frances Broadhead and Julia Rush of Meridian and the late James A. Rush Sr. and Fred W. Clayton.

    The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where she received her master of science degree in speech-language pathology. She is also a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School.     While attending USM, she was a member of The Luckyday Citizenship Scholars Program.

    Miss Clayton is employed as a speech-language pathologist.

    Mr. Windham is the grandson of May Fountain of Gulfport and Ann Windham of Bay Springs and the late Stanley Fountain Sr. and Argie Windham.

    The bride-groom elect is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where he received his bachelor of arts degree in music. He is also a graduate of Harrison Central High School.

    While attending USM, he was a member of The Classical Guitar Society.

    Mr. Windham is employed as a music and creative arts coordinator.
