Parker, Miller

MERIDIAN —

    Mr. Dale Parker and Ms. Joanne Parker, both of Meridian, announce the engagement of their daughter, Alesia, to Branden Miller, son of Mr. Mark and Mrs. Dana Miller of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 5 p.m., at the home of Ken and Teresa Parker of Quitman.

    Miss Parker is the granddaughter of Delma Ruth Slawson and the late Joe Slawson of Quitman, Vivian Lowe and the late William Lowe and the late G.W. Parker, all of Collinsville.

    The bride-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School. She attended Meridian Community College, where she was a member of the MCC cheerleading squad.

    Miss Parker is employed by Family Medical Clinic.

    Mr. Miller is the grandson of Mike and Darlene Reck of East Greenville, Penn., Glenn Miller of Louisville, Ky., and Marilyn Miller of San Diego, Calif.

    The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of South Kitsap High School. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi.

    Mr. Miller is employed by Mississippi Railcar.

    A reception will be held at the Parker home following the ceremony.

    Family and friends are invited to attend.
