McQuaig, Rudd

MERIDIAN —     Mr. and Mrs. Scott McQuaig of Meridian announce the engagement of his daughter, Jessica Michelle, also the daughter of Mrs. Melanie Simmons, to Richard David Rudd III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Lois Rudd Jr. of Barnwell, S.C.

     The wedding will be Saturday, May 25, 2013, at 5 p.m., at the Mississippi Industrial Heritage Museum – Soule Steam Feed Works.

     Miss McQuaig is the granddaughter of Mrs. Millie Jones of Meridian, the late Mr. George Jones, the late Mr. Emerson McQuaig, and Mr. and Mrs. W. P. and Viola Henderson of Meridian.

    The bride-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School.

    Miss McQuaig is employed by Lauderdale County.                                  

     Mr. Rudd is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stanley and Marie Zorn of Barnwell and the late Mr. Richard D. Rudd Sr. and Mrs. Inez Lamp of Bowman, S.C.

     The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Barnwell High School.

    Mr. Rudd is employed by The United States Army.         

     A reception will follow the ceremony.
