MERIDIAN — Mr. and Mrs. Paul Entrekin of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Rebecca, to David Madison Randle, son of Ms. Jody Peters and Mr. John Peters of Columbus.

    The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at 5:30 p.m. at Old Waverly Country Club in West Point.

    Miss Entrekin is the granddaughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Shults, the late Mr. Frank William Shults and the late Mr. and Mrs. William H. Entrekin Sr. of Collinsville.

    The bride-elect received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from University of Mississippi School of Nursing and a bachelor of science degree in biology from Mississippi University for Women. She is a graduate of Meridian High School.

    While attending MUW, she was a member of the Hearin Leadership Program, the Silhouette social club, served as an orientation leader and was a member of the Lantern honor society.

    Miss Entrekin is employed by Baptist Hospital in Columbus as a registered nurse.

    Mr. Randle is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. David Taylor of Columbus.

    The bridegroom-elect received a bachelor of arts degree in real estate finance from Mississippi State University. He is a graduate of Columbus High School.

    While attending MSU, he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.

    A reception will be held at Old Waverly Country Club.
